Registrations

The WebMedia 2022 registration fees are listed below. We emphasize that students and professionals not associated with the SBC can join (or renew membership) in the registration process. Enrolling with SBC membership is the most advantageous option for non-members (check out the benefits of SBC membership).

Day Pass

Option for those who wish to attend only 1 or 2 days of WebMedia. In this case, you must indicate the day(s) on which you want to participate in the event. The Day Pass entitles you to the technical sessions and coffee break on the chosen day – without entitlement to the event’s gifts and cocktail. Values:

  • Undergraduate Students: R$50.00 (1 day) and R$90.00 (2 days)
  • Undergraduate Students: R$90.00 (1 day) and R$170.00 (2 days)
  • Professionals: R$140.00 (1 day) and R$270.00 (2 days)

Dinner

It will be held on November 10th, 2022 (20:00 to 00:00). The price already includes transportation to the site, food and drinks. Price: R$160,00.

Checking the chosen category

For categories that require some kind of proof, an upload attesting to the chosen category will be required at the time of registration in the ECOS system. Verification of this document can take up to 1 business day, and only after validation will the payment forms be released. Registrants will receive informative e-mails at every stage of their WebMedia 2022 registration progress.

*Undergraduate or graduate students not associated with SBC who select the COMBO option, “Event Registration Only” or Day Pass must upload a document attesting to their academic status at the time of registration in the ECOS system.

Registration for authors

For papers to be accepted, at least 1 (one) author must be registered and paid for the event (full registration, not valid day pass). Author submissions are due by October 10, 2022.

When registering in the ECOS system, the author must fill in the fields “Title of the article” and “JEMS number of the article”, in the “Articles” area, indicating the articles that are covered by that registration. With this, it will not be necessary to upload any vouchers into JEMS.

A registration will only be considered valid when its status appears as ‘Paid’, with the exception of registrations by commitment note or billing, which have a longer processing time, and registrations by institutional members entitled to exemption, which will be verified with SBC.


Advantages of being an SBC member

Joining the SBC is a way to make the SBC even stronger to represent our area of expertise with the various sectors. SBC members have the following benefits:

  • Access to the Eduroam wireless network (only for individuals);
  • Access to RNP’s FileSender;
  • Discount on registrations for more than 40 events held annually by SBC;
  • Discount of at least 15% on registrations for events supported by SBC;
  • Differentiated registration fee at POSCOMP;
  • Access to studies carried out by SBC and intended for public or private bodies, expressing the Society’s political positions

Forms of Payment

The payment of the registrations can be made by bank payment slip, credit card, debit in Banco do Brasil account, commitment note, and billing, through SBC’s registration system. However, debit and boleto payments will be closed on November 1st, 2022. After this date, it will be possible to pay by credit card, purchase order and invoicing through the registration system until the last day of the event (11/November/2022).

In the case of enrollments by purchase order and billing, the participant must access the system and make the enrollment, select the payment method “purchase order” or “billing” and click on pay. The system will then provide you with the necessary information that must be on the purchase order or the billing request.

Cancellation Policy

Until October 21st, 2022 you can get a 50% refund of your WebMedia 2022 registration fee. After this date there will be no refund of any amount paid. The policy applies to both cancellation of registration and cancellation of any additional activities. To request cancellation, send the request to faturamento@sbc.org.br .
