Florianópolis, the Magic Island!

Florianópolis, or kindl called "Floripa", is the Capital of the State of Santa Catarina. Located in the Island of SantaCatarina, it is one of the more beautiful city in Brazil. Florianópolis was colonized by the Azores, whose architecture is marked in the houses and small buildings from the colonial period, which are still preserved in several places in the Island. Its friendly people have a very peculiar accent. People who had the privilege of being born in Florianopolis are called "Manézinhos da Ilha".

WebMedia will be held in Oceania Park Hotel, in Praia dos Ingleses, located in the north of the island of Santa Catarina. The access to the beach can be done by bus, taxi or shuttle offered by the organization.

Located at 35 km from the center of the capital, Praia dos Ingleses is, of all beaches of Florianopolis, the one that has the largest resident population. Large investments were made in recent years by providing the beach with tourism infrastructure - made up of hotels, guesthouses, bars and restaurants - allowing to receive tourists in any season.

The temperature at the time of the event ranges between 16° C to 25° C. October is the beginning of the season of flowers, so you can enjoy a more pleasant climate, ideal to enjoy the city outside. The amount of rain is small, with the occurrence of extended periods without rain, which facilitates the rapid elevation of the temperatures.
