Welcome
You are kindly invited to attend WebMedia 2011 to be held in Florianópolis/SC from October 03 to 06. The Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) annually promotes several national symposia in diverse computer science fields. Since its first edition, in 1995, WebMedia has become the most important Brazilian forum for researchers and professionals in the areas of Multimedia, Hypermedia and the Web.
In 2011, in its seventeenth edition, WebMedia is being organized in conjunction with the Brazilian Symposium on Database (SBBD 2008).
WebMedia will host the following events:
- Workshop on Tools and Applications;
- Workshop on Ongoing Thesis and Dissertations;
- Workshop on Undergraduate Research;
- Tutorials;
- Short Courses.
The event’s current organization is under the responsibility of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC).
