Promoted by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), the Brazilian Symposium on Multimedia and Web (WebMedia) is an excellent opportunity for scientific and technical exchange among students, researchers and professionals in the areas of Multimedia, Hypermedia and Web. This year we will be celebrating to twenty fourth edition and WebMedia 2018 will be held from October 16 to 19 in the city of Salvador-BA, the first capital of Brazil (learn more about the city of Salvador).

Webmedia 2018’s programming includes:

The WebMedia 2018 organization is under the responsibility of the Federal Institute of Bahia (IFBA), the Academic Department of Computing (DACOMP) and the Postgraduate Program in Systems and Products Engineering (PPGESP).

This year, WebMedia 2018 will have in parallel the V Workshop “The future of videocolaboration”, promoted by RNP, which is an open forum to study the future of applications in videocolaboration, in the most varied areas of research, development and innovation.
